PERSHORE air cadets have been recognised for their precision at the rifle range with an award.
Cadets from the 233 (Pershore) Squadron, Reuben Evans, Zachary Sinclair and Scott Gibson, have achieved their squadron marksman award.
The three cadets all qualified for the award while using the squadron's air rifle range.
Air Rifle Shooting is an Olympic sports, and cadets take part while being supervised by qualified and experienced instructors.
After full training, cadets undergo progressive practices while shooting in different positions. Upon achieving consistently high scores, they can qualify for a series of awards.
Officer Commanding Flight Lieutenant Steve Pritchett said: “This is an example of the many successes of our cadets and we’re all looking forward to further achievements.”
As well as marksmanship the air cadets, aged 12 to 18-years-old, take part in other activities including flying, adventure training, fieldcraft and sport.
