FOO Fighters, Red Hot Chilli Peppers tributes and more will be performing at a popular city music festival this weekend.

The Worcester Fake Festival is returning this weekend at Worcester Racecourse, Pitchcroft, with a variety of acts that perform some of the biggest bands in the world's music.

There will be a giant marquee at the racecourse ready to host the bands throughout the day on Saturday, August 26.

This year's event will feature Fore Fighters, a Foo Fighters tribute, Really Hot Chilli Peppers and GUNS2ROSES to name a few.

The first band will be performing at 12.45pm and the last act of the day will take to the stage at 9.45pm.

  • 2.30pm - U2 tribute act - New2
  • 4.15pm - P!nk tribute act - Vicky Jackson is P!nk
  • 6pm - Guns N Roses tribute act - GUNS2ROSES
  • 7.45pm - Red Hot Chilli Peppers tribute act - Really Hot Chilli Peppers
  • 9.45pm - Foo Fighters tribute act - Fore Fighters

The festival is brought to Worcester by 'Fake Festivals', and this weekend's event is the last on the calendar for the year.

A message from Fake Festivals reads: "Worcester, ready to rock? We bet you are. It is our last tour gig of the year, so we’re gonna rock this one in style.

There is no better way than partying the night away with you special peeps at your Racecourse, it’s always a magical treat.

"So let’s join together, get our grooves on, tune up our sweet singing voices and give this line-up just what it rightly deserves."

Advanced tickets for the event are still available to purchase on the Fake Festivals website, with adult tickets starting at £37.50, and young person tickets costing £30.

There are also family ticket options costing £115, which consists of two adults and two children.

The advanced tickets can be purchased until the end of Friday, August 25, but tickets will still be available on the door.

Adult tickets on the door will cost £47.50 and young person tickets will cost £37.50.
