A group of Barbershop singers have raised money for St Richards Hospice with an carol singing event in Evesham.

Vale Harmony's A Cappella Fellas raised £200 in a carol concert for St Richard’s Hospice in Evesham.

Vale Harmony's A Cappella Fellas were engaged by Johnsons Property Consultants to sing at their Christmas party on the High Street.

The Fellas performed four Christmas songs in their unique four-part harmony style, then led the crowd in singing various traditional Christmas Carols.

Chris Dobbins, chairman of Vale Harmony, said: "We were delighted to sing carols to Johnsons’ clients to help celebrate Christmas and we thank them for helping raise funds for St Richard’s hospice."

Tom Tarver, managing director of Johnsons, added: "The festive sing-along created the perfect atmosphere for our end of year celebration and really got our guests into the Christmas spirit."

The barbershop group rehearses at the St Andrews Centre in Pershore.

They will be leading the carol singing at the Christmas Carol and Memorial Service at Fladbury crematorium this year.
