Worcestershire County Council’s planning committee has paid tribute to a councillor who died unexpectedly in December.
Peter Griffiths was a county councillor for the Evesham North West division and a member of the Planning and Regulatory Committee.
As the committee met for the first time this year, chair Ian Hardiman took the chance to pay his respects.
“Cllr Griffiths always weighed up the pros and cons of each application and did not hesitate to challenge and speak up when necessary,” he said.
“He was a most genial person and he will be sorely missed.”
