WORCESTER Wolves suffered an embarrassing 101-91 home defeat to basement boys Plymouth University Raiders in the British Basketball League at the University of Worcester Arena.

The result continued their poor recent form at the arena, which has seen three defeats in a row to London Lions, Cheshire Phoenix and now the Devon strugglers.

Wolves had won 91-80 at Plymouth last weekend but this time struggled to impose themselves on the match until the final quarter.

Perris Blackwell continued to lead the scoring for Worcester with 23 points and 11 rebounds but did not receive enough support.

Pavel Losonsky managed 20 points after starting on the bench, while Jay Couisnard scored 17 and Ben Eaves 13.

Plymouth claimed their first away win of the season as Daryl Corletto led his side to only their second league victory with a 24-point haul.

Adrien Sturt added 20 and Josh Wilcher provided 11 assists to go with his 12 points.

Wolves have a double-header next weekend at home to Leeds Force on Friday and away to Bristol Flyers on Saturday.
